Gavin and I had planned to go out to a party for St. Paddy’s, but we wanted to bring green chocolate chip cookies with us! By the time we had finished making them though, it was late and we didn’t feel like leaving. Or, we just didn’t want to share the delicious cookies!! They were soooo good! We were sick from eating so many.
For extra fun, we even dyed gavin’s beer a lovely shade of green!! In case you are wondering, the trick with beer is to add only blue food colouring!
And we wore green shirts. Behold the awesomeness that is my green chocolate chip cookie!! FYI, I got the cookie recipe from The Shilling Family Cooks Cookbook! A most delightful recipe book indeed!
