Sam gave us an awesome game called Carcassonne for Christmas — it’s a really sweet tile game. I kept the outlines that the tiles came in, thinking they may come in useful someday.
I decided to paint them black and put coloured foam underneath, and stick it to the wall to create THIS!
Here’s what the pieces looked like before I put them on the wall:
Now our living room has a good, retro-gaming feel to it.
Ok, so I actually made it a couple weeks ago - - but it’s awesome and I want to show it off!
It’s super comfortable, as long as I’m careful not to flash anyone 
You can only really get away with that when you are a toddler.
I’m pretty impressed with how the neckline/binding turned out. Rumour has it you are supposed to use the material on the bias to make it, but i so wanted to have it match the stripes!!! It just woudn’t have looked as cool if it had diagonal stripes all around. am i right? am i right?
Sometime this week I’m planning on making little bicycle shorts to wear underneath, so that I can ride my bike in it a little more ‘comfortably’
