- Joey! Hi there!
**Joey gazes off into space, unaware of Martha**
- Martha:
- Joey! Joey?
- Joey:
- Oh, sorry Martha — I was just daydreaming, I didn’t hear you.
- Martha:
- Daydreaming? About what?
- Joey:
- You mean who? *sigh*
- Martha:
- Who? You’re daydreaming about a someone?
- Joey:
- well…ya.
- Martha:
- Someone with blonde pigtails?
- Joey:
- What? No… she has beautiful red curls….
- Martha:
- Red curls? Are you sure? Look again, she might have blonde pigtails…
- Joey:
- Oh no, she has beautiful red curls. She sits right in front of me at school, so I’m sure that is the right colour.
- Martha:
- Oh…. um… her?
- Joey:
- yeah.
- Martha:
- Do you like her?
- Joey:
- You bet. but she doesn’t even know that I exist. I am going to pray to God that we can fall in love and get married.
- Martha:
- Joey! Don’t you know that God already has a plan for your life! you can pray for that, but God planned what was going to happen to you before you were even born! you shouldn’t be too worried about it, because what God has planned for you is probably better then any silly red-haired girl… for all you know the girl God means for you to be with is right before your eyes!
- Joey:
- That’s a good point Martha…. is Jocelyn here today *looks towards sound booth* I don’t see her… maybe the girl for me isn’t here today…
- Martha:
- Maybe not…. but maybe, someday you will open your eyes and I… I mean… she will be there. someday…
