- I don’t know, Martha, but at least it’s not snowing!
- Martha:
- What are you even talking about?
- Joey:
- I thought I was clear, but maybe I should shout.
- Martha:
- Huh?
- Joey:
- **rapping sound effect**
- Martha:
- Right. Did you learn this week’s memory verse?
- Joey:
- I wanted to, but I learned to rap first.
- Martha:
- That’s funny, because this week’s verse is a rap.
- Joey:
- What do you mean? That sounds like a trap!
- Martha:
- ahem. Luke 6:37 to 38
**begins to rap**
Do not judge and you will not be judged.
Do not condemn and you will not be condemned.
Forgive if you want to be forgiven,
What you give will unto you be given!Poured into your lap will be a good measure,
pressed down, running over, shaken together.

most people know it as the golden rule
there’s a lot it says with a few simple lines
and we would like to simplify it up with rhymes
